Job Description
SFG Engineering Services is looking for a Solar Construction Manager to join their team in Muizenberg.
Responsibilities
- - Manage and oversee solar PV installation projects from start to finish
- - Coordinate and supervise installation teams and subcontractors
- - Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- - Conduct site assessments and pre-construction planning
- - Implement and enforce safety protocols on construction sites
- - Coordinate with clients, engineers, and regulatory authorities
- - Resolve technical issues and challenges during installation
- - Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports
Requirements
- - Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- - 5+ years experience in solar PV installations or construction management
- - Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, components, and installation techniques
- - Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
- - Experience with project management and team leadership
- - Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- - Valid driver's license
