Job Description
Adcorp BLU is seeking a Clerk of Works/Site Supervisor/Construction Manager for a contract position in Richards Bay.
Responsibilities
- - Supervise and coordinate construction activities on site
- - Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
- - Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks
- - Maintain accurate site records and documentation
- - Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- - Report on project progress and identify potential issues
- - Assist in resolving technical and construction-related problems
- - Participate in site meetings and communicate with project stakeholders
Requirements
- - National Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- - 5+ years experience in construction supervision or management
- - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques
- - Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- - Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- - Valid driver's license
